The direct reaction of triphenyl phosphite ozonide (TPPO) with olefins, occurring at low temperatures where no thermal generation of singlet oxygen occurs, is observed in identical fashion with a caged-ring and two o-phenylene phosphite ozonides whose thermal generation of singlet oxygen
