Chelating diiminophosphorane and tripodal iminophosphorane copper and palladium complexes are found to efficiently catalyze the cyclopropanation of activated monosubstituted olefins with ethyl diazoacetate. Cycloolefins, and linear α-olefins are somewhat less reactive.
