摘要

0 0 HnC (Cfl2) iO---O (CH2V2OOH IT 111 namely, the diketo acid II3l4 and the hydrogenation product (dihydrosterculic acid) I11 provided the basis for this assignment of structure. The acid I1 established the location of the double bond, whereas I11 pointed to the cyclopropane nature of sterculic acid. Three independent groups of
