摘要

A synthesis of 2-hydroxy-3-chloromethylquinoxaline (V) is described: the product is different from the isomeric compound, mp 265-268', obtained by treatment of 3-ethoxy-2- methylquinoxaline I-oxide (11) with hydrochloric acid. A synthesis of 6-chloro-3-hydroxy-2-
