Abstract From a dichloromethane extract ofArtemisia borealis two polyacetylenes were isolated through activity guided fractionation. Their structures were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Complete assignments of the NMR spectra were obtained through extensive homonuclear spin decoupling and 2D homo-and heteronuclear correlation. The genuine polyacetylenes and their acetates exhibited antifungal activity. ...
