Abstract: The series of N-[(4-arylpiperazin-1-yl)-alkyl]-3-phenyl-and 3-(3-methylphenyl)- pyrrolidine-2, 5-diones [VIII-XXV] were synthesized and evaluated for anticonvulsant and neurotoxic properties.
