Introduction Investigation of the additions of a number of substances to olefins has demonstrated that some of these additions proceed by a free radical chain reaction. Among the reactions observed, are radical-induced polymerizations or copolymerizations, and additions of the following types of atoms and free radicals ': Br-,(a) RS,(b).
