Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 1971; Vol. 14, No. 11 1127 ... A soln of 1 g (0.026 mole) of NaBHa in 10 ml of HzO and 7 ml of 2 N NaOH, was added dropwise over 10 min to a stirred sus- pension of 4.6.5 g (0.013 mole) of nearly pure 6 (above) in 50 ml of MeOH.
