(II)(R= Brl of the appropriate N-ethyl-2, 2'-dibromodiphenylamine to react with diphenyltin dichloride or stannic chloride. We have used this synthetic method to prepare [except for (X)] the compounds in Tables 1 and 2, and we wish to report on some of their chemical transformations.
