Abstract The reactions of 2-, 3-, and 4-aminobenzoic acids with copper acetate and basic copper carbonate were studied in the solid state. The products have been identified as bis (aminobenzoato) copper (II) complexes. Kinetic data for the reactions have been recorded at various temperatures for fixed sizes of the particles at constant compaction.
