We report the application of our rhodium-catalyzed nucleophilic ring-opening methodology to unsymmetrically arene-substituted oxabenzonorbornadienes. The regioselectivity of the ring opening was investigated using a variety of nucleophiles that led to a broad selection of dihydronaphthalene products.
