The visible spectrum of I varies with the polarity of the solvent, and spectra obtained in DMF [600 nm (sh), 522 (sh), 472 (E 5849), 432 (4070), 314 (12 250)] are different from those obtained in CH2C12 [600 nm (E 580), 566 (sh), 475 (9892), 398 (4369), 319 (13 870)](Figure 4).
