摘要

Condensation of 15 and ethyl formate produced the hydroxymethylene derivative 21 which formed an enamine 22 with morpholine. Reaction of the enamine 22 with phenylmagnesium bromide and methylmagnesium iodide formed 20 and Pethylidene-1-benzothiepin-5 (2HJ3H)-one (23), respectively.
