A series of new alkyl 2, 2-dichlorovinyl methyl phosphates and related alkoxyalkyl and cycloalkyl analogs of dichlorvos, 2, 2-dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate (I), having a high order of anthelmintic activity, has been synthesized. Novel vinyl pyrophosphates, obtained by treatment of vinyl phosphoric acids with SOClz or diphenylcarbodiimide, facilitated the preparation of the asymmetric esters.
