The reaction of 1-pyrrolidinocyclohexene and arylsulfonyl chlorides led, on hydrolysis, to 2- arylsulfonylcyclohexanones. With o-, m-, or p-nitrobeneenesulfenyl chloride, 2-mono-and 2, 6-biS (O-, m-, and p-nitrophenylsulfeny1) cyclohexanones were obtained. Intermediate bisnitrophenylsulfenyl enamines were isolated.
