Conclusion The procedure described here appears to offer serveral advantages over previous methods for the acylation of ketone silyl enol ethers. It combines convenience and generality in substrate and acylating agent as well as a predominant selectivity for C- acylation over 0-acylation. We believe it will complement other methods described in the literature4-'for the C-acylation of ketones.
