Abstract Carboxylated and phosphorylated esters of glycerol, possible inhibitors of the atypical glycolysis in trypanosomes have been synthesised and tested on Trypanosoma equiperdum in vitro and Trypanosoma brucei, on mice, and some of them also on glycerol phosphate dehydrogenase (GDH).
