摘要

2-Metalloalkylbentothiazoles 2, readily available from 2-alkylbenzothiazoles 1, undergo aldol reaction to give aldols 3 and 4. Low to satisfactory threo diastereoselection was observed with 2-lithio-and 2-trimethylsilyl derivatives 2b-d and 2e-g. High to excellent erythrostereoselection occurs witn 2-stannylalkylbenzothiazoles2h-i.
