Abstract: Reaction of ethene with singlet [I3C] methylene, generated photochemically from [I3C] diazomethane at four pressures in the range 35-800 Torr, reveals rearrangement of excited [3-I3C] propene (3), the product of insertion, to [l-I3C] propene (1) and [2-I3C] propene (2).
