Abstract : A three step synthesis of novel 'multi-site' water soluble phase transfer catalyst viz., a,a'-bis(triethy1 ammonium methylene chloride) S-phenyl ethene and its utility in various organic biphase reactions are described. ... Phase transfer catalysis(PTC) is a versatile, well established
