Abstract The reaction of CF2CF2OSO 2 with haloalkanes (RX, X= Cl, Br, I) in the presence of metal fluorides, MF (M= K+, Cs+, Ag+) was studied as a means for preparing novel reactive polyfluoroalkoxy-sulfonyl fluorides.
