The chiral bidentate ligands,(2-aminoethyl) methylphenylarsine (mpan) and (2-aminoethyl) butylphenylarsine (bpan) were prepared and resolved by preparing their palladium (II) complexes containing, respectively,(R)-N, N-dimethyl-1-(2-naphthyl) ethylamine and (S)-N, N-dimethyl-α-methylbenzylamine.
