1, MeOH-cat. 2, Ac2O-pyridine cy-aiid p-forms 11 HBr-HOAr In, K= I1+ attractive by the work of Letnieux who showed that the carbon-1 p-acetoxy group of an acetylated glucose is subject to displacement by an alkoxy1 group in the presence of stannic chloride.
