Ozonolysis6'of endo-7-Phenylnorcarane (la).-A stream of 375 ozone was bubbled through a 250-ml gas wash bottle containing a magnetically stirred mixture of 2.0 g of la (99% pure) in 100 ml of 95% acetic acid until a test in water showed no turbidity. The time required for this readon when carried out'at 2.5" was 2.5 hr.
