Spherical DNA micro-assemblies appended with lactose units (Lactose-nucleo-cages, Lac- NC) are newly developed. DNA spherical assemblies self-assembled from suitably designed three oligodeoxyribonucleotides (ODNs) 1–3 were cross-linked by lactose- conjugated psoralen derivative 4.
