摘要

Abstract Pteridic acid A (1) is a spirocyclic octaketide produced by the phytoepiphytic actinomycete Streptomyces hygroscopicus TP-A0451 and possesses potent plant-growth- promoting activity comparable to that of indole-3-acetic acid.
