The recombination of pairs of para-substituted phenylthiyl radicals inside micellar supercages was studied by means of a nanosecond laser flash photolysis technique. Singlet and triplet pairs were formed by direct excitation and by triplet-sensitized photolysis of the corresponding disulfides, respectively.
