Figure 2. Eetimated energies and coefficients of 2-pyridone and methyl acrylate. across the C3-C4 double bond in 2-pyridone, photoirradiation of 1, 3-bis (w-alkenyl)-2-pyridone 6 was carried out in order to clarify the reactivity of the two kinds of double bonds of the 2-pyridone ring.
