摘要

A variable-temperature NMR study of 4'-substituted 2, 4, 6-triisopropylbenzophenones was performed. With use of the prochiral ortho isopropyl groups as a probe for the dynamic process, activation parameters for the hindered rotation about the single bond linking the 2, 4, 64riisopropylphenyl group and the carbonyl group (the C1-C7 bond) were obtained.
