摘要

In recent years much attention has been focused on the synthesis of R-substituted R-amino acids particularly in view of the design and the synthesis of enzyme inhibitors. 1 In connection with a project directed toward the synthesis of biologically interesting natural products such as conagenin, lactacystin, and myriocin, 2 we needed a promising method for the preparation of R-substituted serine structures. Our strategy for the preparation of
