Substituted 1,2,5-thiadiazoles are known to exhibit a wide spectrum of biological activity [1]. In addition to pronounced herbicide activity, 1,2,5-thiadiazole derivatives were found to be efficient muscarine receptor agonists [2], as well as inhibitors of HIV-1 replication [3].
