In continuation of an investigation of the effects of substituents on the estrogenic activities of estrone and estradiol, a number of 2-dialkylaminoniethylestrogens have been synthesized. It is the purpose of this article to describe in detail the experimental procedures for synthesizing the compounds which were reported in an earlier communication3 and to report some nev compounds in this series.
