The synthesis and characterization of three zinc(II) complexes [Zn(34-MBTSC) 2 Cl 2 ] (1), [Zn(34-MBTSC) 2 Br 2 ] (2), and [Zn(34-MBTSC) 2 I 2 ] (3) of 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (34-MBTSC) are reported. Elemental analysis (CHN) and spectral (FT-IR and 1 H-NMR) measurements have been used to characterize the complexes.
