摘要

Some methyl-and phenyl-substituted 2, 3-dihydro-and 2, 3.4, 5-tetrahydro-1H-1, 5- benzodiazepines and 1, 5-benzothiazepines are described: new examples are reported and some preparative routes revised. The compounds are characterized by their vibrational and electronic spectra and mass spectral fragmentation paths are assigned.
