In continuation of our work about the use of oxo-complexes as catalysts for oxidation/reduction reactions, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 in this communication we report the selective oxidation of benzyl alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes catalyzed by oxo-complexes using a sulfoxide as the oxidizing agent. ...
