H from the n-alkyl hydrocarbons (Part IX, Zoc. 622.). The values for CH, were the mean figures deduced by subtracting (n-2) CH, from the normal hydrocarbons CnHPn+ 2; CH from CH.+ CH.. CH P from 0.5 (diisobutyl-2CH.); and CH from diallyl. The contributions of the CO group for the various alkyl ketones are collected in Table I1.
