The thermodynamic parameters, Kdisp, ΔH° and ΔS°, controlling the disproportionation of semiquinones derived from 1, 4-benzoquinone (BQ), 1, 4-naphthoquinone (NQ), 2- methylbenzoquinone (MBQ), menadione (MNQ), naphthazarin (NZQ) and quinizarin (QNZ), have been determined.
