Abstract: The far-infrared and low-frequency Raman spectra of 1, 3-disilacyclobutane and the far-infrared spectrum of 1, 3-disilacyclobutane-ll, 3, 3-d4 have been recorded and analyzed. The spectra consist of a large number of bands between 30 and 200 cm-'which correspond to transitions involving the excited states of the ring-inversion vibration.
