摘要

Thiarubrine A (11, thiarubrine B (2), and other 1, 2-dithiins show significant bioactivity.'-12 In order to evaluate the influence of the 1, a-dithiin ring system in structure activity relationship (SAR) studies, we needed to prepare and evaluate the carbon analogue (3) of thiarubrine A (1) and similar structures.
