摘要

Application of the intramolecular Kulinkovich cyclopropanation of oxa-ω-alkenoic esters followed by Saegusa oxidation and dehydrohalogenation led to simple or benzo-fused oxacycloalkenones, basic structural elements in a wide range of naturally occurring compounds.
