Synthesis of hetero-and carbocycles by nucleophilic substitution at sp 2 carbon

Vinylic halides having alcohol, sulfonamide, active methine, and thiol moieties as nucleophiles cyclize to hetero-and carbocycles by intramolecular nucleophilic substitution at the sp2 carbon centers.
