Two enantiomerically pure B-ring modified analogues of (−)-epicatechin gallate were synthesised and their modulation of β-lactam resistance using three strains of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (BB 568, EMRSA-15 and EMRSA-16) evaluated.
