摘要

Reported herein is a new entry in the growing arsenal of arylmethyl ether protecting groups. The para-siletanylbenzyl (PSB) ether is electronically similar to the benzyl ether. Cleavage of the PSB ether is accomplished under mild conditions involving alkaline hydrogen
