摘要

The reaction of arenes with elemental iodine, acetic acid, and potassium μ-peroxo- hexaoxodisulfate (K 2 S 2 O 8) in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid, efficiently generated the corresponding (diacetoxyiodo) arenes in good yields.
