Abstract New hexadecaalkyl-substituted diphthalocyanine complexes of lanthanides R Pc 2 Ln (R= Et, or Bu; Ln= Lu, Dy, or Eu) were synthesized by three methods: in solution in the presence of 1, 8-diazabicyclo [5.4. 0] undec-7-ene, in a melt of a mixture of the reagents, and under microwave irradiation.
