We report on the synthesis and electrodeposition of peripheral olefin dendrons with electropolymerizable focal point terthiophene units. These films were utilized for surface initiated ring-opening metathesis polymerization (SI-ROMP) of norbornene to form grafted polynorbornene brushes.
