From this intense research effort, all heteroaromatic-based ligands are practically absent. This is surprising considering the rich chemistry, stability, and good coordinating properties of many heterocycles. 5 We describe here a new family of ligands (LH = 1–4) based on the pyridine/pyridine-N-oxide–tetrazole skeleton.
