摘要

Lipophilic complexes [Ln (L k)(NO3) 3] with 10 semidendrimeric ligands differing in length, branching, and methyl substitution show nonartifactual enthalpy/entropy compensation for their dimerization in noncoordinating dichloromethane. On the contrary, in the pure complexes, the same structural variations drastically affect the thermotropic liquid-crystalline properties.
