Abstract Eight fluorine-containing compounds, seven of which are derivatives of bromal or dichloroacetaldehyde, were synthesized and their physical constants determined. These compounds have been screened for anticancer, antispasmodic, tranquilizing, and blood pressure effects. Acute toxicity studies have also been carried out.
