摘要

The deprotection of ketals and acetals, in particular the 1,3-dioxolanes, to the corresponding carbonyl compound is a transformation of considerable importance in organic synthesis. Regeneration of the aldehyde or ketone is normally accom- plished by aqueous acid hydrolysis.'
